Everyone else has gone out with their supervisors to wish them a final Thank-You. Madeline is here packing away till her poor little fingers drop off. And me, I am doing absolutely nothing. I have done all of my packing (I started packing Friday night) and decided to write a little more because I figure out my dinner situation. Anywho, this will probably be full of random thoughts.
i. Our trip is not quite over. We are leaving for Delhi, traveling to Agra to see the Taj Mahaal, and eventually heading back to Delhi for our flight home. I still have two more days to get a little more growth in there! Yaay! We are supposed to see the Taj at sunrise. What a serene experience that should be. I hope I can get a picture on the Love Bench!
ii. The Monsoons never came. Everyone who heard we were only here for a month would begin to rant about the forthcoming monsoons. How wonderful a time it is and how much the rain is celebrated here. As much as I hate rain in the city, I was looking forward to moment the monsoons came. A peaceful torrential downpour. Well, so much for that. And you know what? I think I am OK with that. I probably would’ve been miserable traveling in a rickshaw with rain rushing in my face, soaking my clothes.
iii. We never went to the seafood spot here, but that will just make my trip to Red Lobster on Times Square that much better. I was sure to go there before coming to India just in case my seafood cravings were not fulfilled abroad. What better way to welcome myself back home than with large snow crab legs, shrimp scampi and the best cheese biscuits ever?
iv. My first week back should be hectic. Besides getting over major jet lag, I need to get my job situation in order, go to my little cousin’s graduation, catch up with my girls in the city, visit the beach and eventually head to D.C. I don’t know how much I can do without a job, but I will make it work. It should be fun to simply adjust in the city. Not much can faze me now, I am convinced.
v. I am going to miss Parle-Gs. Period.
Until next time. The final blog on the horizon…
Achcha,

I love your random thoughts, lol. I elude to this again, but now you know how easily my mind surfs through seemingly unconnected thoughts.
Your week will be pretty hectic. More traveling and more work to be complemented by jet lag. I took this into consideration. Thinking to myself, “she needs relaxation, stress relief, quiet time, and queen-like catering.” A nice surprise is in order for the deserving lady.
I find it ironic to celebrate monsoons. Aren’t they deadly? What is the cultural significance behind it. I am interested to know. Also, how do you say “I’m sorry” and “pardon me” in Hindi? Just like the rickshaw drivers and their limited English, I want to practice my limited Hindi skills.
Let me know. I am kind of sleepy now. My head is starting to wither downwards like Kevin Hart’s baby lol. Catch you later stinkii!
KYLE
P.S. DO NOT ASK WHAT THE SURPRISE IS BECAUSE I AM NOT TELLING YOU!!
Hey mate, I really like your site. With the abundance of misinformation regarding this subject on the internet, it’s great to see some refreshing content. Keep up the good work!
