I just got home from my last day of college two days ago. My room looks like a tornado hit it, as does the rest of my house where the rest of my stuff is just waiting to be put away. The fact that I just finished my college career still has not completely hit me, let alone the fact that I am about to leave for India. Although I have been preparing to go to India for months now, I still cannot believe that I am leaving tomorrow.
People keep asking me if I am excited to go, and all I can tell them is yes, of course I am, but it’s pretty much all that I can say. I honestly have no idea what awaits me in Mumbai and I am so excited and anxious and curious to find out. All I can do is confirm that I am excited, which I do not think has ever happened to me before. Any other time that I have traveled, I have had at least a vague idea of what I’m getting myself into, but with Mumbai, even though I took the Bollywood course beforehand, all I can be sure of is that I am in for the experience of a lifetime.
My big graduation gift was a Nikon D40 digital camera, and I am beyond excited to take it with me to Mumbai – the thing takes phenomenal pictures!! For now, I should probably hit the hay, even thought I’ll have plenty of time to sleep on the 15 hour flight tomorrow (YIIIIKES!)
